Chandos typically invests in UK businesses valued between £5 million and £15 million that are seeking up to £5 million of equity.

Team
Paul Cannings
Paul joined YFM Group in 2005 having spent 14 years at 3i both in Cambridge and leading the smaller buyout and growth capital team in London. He has experience of making investments in, and sitting on the Boards of, growing businesses.
Based in London, Paul manages the Chandos Fund and is involved in both fundraising and in the making and managing of investments.
Mike White
Mike joined YFM in 1999. Prior to that, he spent ten years working in the software industry, co-founding a software company in the USA that specialised in selling business intelligence and performance management solutions. During his software career Mike focussed on business development, strategy formulation and the establishment of new business partnerships.
As an investment director for the Chandos Fund, Mike splits his time between London and Leeds and is involved in making and managing investments and fundraising.
David Gee
David has been Investment Director of YFM Private Equity since 1996. He has over 21 years experience of investing in fast growing businesses.
David sits on the Investment Committees and Portfolio Panels of all of the YFM Private Equity funds as well as making direct investments. He is based in Leeds.
Nigel Barraclough
Nigel joined YFM in 1991 from Ernst & Young. He has led and completed over 25 investments in unquoted companies across a wide range of sectors.
Nigel is responsible for making and managing new investments and is based in Leeds.
